RIDING THE UNDERGROUND OF LONDON

London's underground is the fast way to get somewhere quick. 

Yes, it was scarry but look it is easy to learn, a cheap way to travel greater london area.

It is also called the tube, Metro and the underground.

The people like to talk with you to show they know English.  Dawn and I ran into some darling young men on one of our many travel adventures.  Two brothers who were from Italy studing English in London.  The city is full of  schools and full of young people who come there to study.  They come from all over the world to study.   It has always been the place to come and learn other languages mainly English.

What a fun city
so much to see
 a learning experience
 one you will never forget
London was the city
we fell in love with and
 hated to tell goodbye

Dawn and I spent hours
 walking the streets
watching the cars fly by
searching for a cold coke
drinking coffee at Starbucks
just to use their WC.

We were happy to discover
London has the easiest, fasts
transportation system in Europe.
we mastered all walking, climbing
stairs, stairs, and more stairs
the underground system, taxi's,
tour buses, double decker's, boats, and
plane in and the Eurostar out

LONDON
WHAT A CITY
MY DAUGHTER DAWN
AND I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT
WE HAD SO MUCH FUN
MASTERING ALL THE DIFFERENT
WAYS OF TRANSPORTATION.
YOU COULD WALK, TAKE TAXI
ON THE STREET, CLIMB ON THE DOUBLE DECKER BUS, TAKE A TOUR
BUS, A TOUR BOAT OR TAKE THE UNDERGROUND SYSTEM IT IS FAST,
EERIE BUT EXCITING AND WE MASTERED THAT SYSTEM. 
LONDON WAS WHERE YOU WANTED TO WALK AND EXPLORE ALL THE STRANGE
PARKS , SMALL LITTLE STREETS THAT WENT TO UNUSUAL PLACES ONE WAS CALLED
GENTLEMEN AND WHAT A SURPRISE ALL THE SHOPS WERE CLOTHING JUST FOR MEN.  THEY HAD TAILOR SHOP WHERE YOU COULD SEE THEM MEASURING MEN FOR SUITS, SOME CUTTING THE FABRIC .  WE DID ENJOY THAT STREET WITH THE TEA ROOMS FOR MEN AND PLACES FOR ONLY MEN TO GO.

Hello every one here I am in Stuttgart, Germany traveling with my daughter Dawn Elise who was born here WE HAD TO CHANGE HOTEL            THE TOUR COMPANY IN STILLWATER DID A FEW STRANGE OR WIERD THINGS I WONT GO INTO IT NOW BUT ON A LATER DATE WHEN I WRITE MY BOOK ON HOW TO TRAVEL WHEN YOU HAVE BECOME OLDER:  THEY  PUT US OUT IN THE INDUSTRIAL AREA:   THE COST TO GET ANY WHERE WAS OVER TWENTY  THREE  EURO'S THAT IS  THIRTY EIGHT CENTS MORE ON EACH DOLLAR MORE THAN OUR DOLLAR.  HEY I CAN NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT THESE MISTAKES THE KEY BOARD IS SO DIFFERENT THAN OURS BUT A LOT BETTER THAN THE FRENCH ONE:   WE ARE NOW IN HOTEL UNGER, KRONENSTRASSE 17, STUTTGART; GERMANY;  70173   PHONE 004971120991209   THAT IS THE COUNTRY CODE PLUS OUR ROOM NUMBER

LONDON WAS GREAT; PARIS WAS A LOVE; EACH WARM AND THEN COLD AT NIGHT; STUTTGART WAS HOT AND HOT I LOOKED FOR COOLER CLOTHES BUT THEY ARE REALLY PUSHING CLOTHES FOR WINTER                    GUYS  THERE IS SOMEONE FOR YOU TO REMEMBER IN YOUR PRAYERS; DAWNS FATHER AND THE FATHER OF KELLIE PALACIOS  TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY WE WILL BE HERE UNTIL THE 7th of SEPTEMBER THEN ON TO BERLIN FOR FOUR MORE DAY.  AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS ONE DAY FLY HOME SEPTEMBER 12th    Things I have missed  MY GUM THAT REALLY TASTES LIKE PEPERMMINT;.CLUB SODA; A FEW THINGS I DID NOT BRING   ALL IN ALL I AM THANKFUL THAT I AM HEALTHY AND ABLE TO WITHSTAND ALL THESE STAIRS AND MORE STAIRS;  AND THE FEATHER BLANKETS EVEN IF YOU DID NOT NEED THEM.  YES OUR WONDERFUL WASH CLOTHES YOU KNOW FACE CLOTHES  OR AS I WAS RAISED WASH RAGS WOW posted by BEVERLEY H. Working Hard also It is slow going

Our little beautiful, Great Granddaughter Kendra.
She is a little girl who moved away to Ross, ND
Just to live with her parents.  She likes to be
beautiful and this is the first time I caught her looking
at herself in a mirror .  I would like to know what her thoughts are.   Happy 3rd Birthday to our little Kendra, We love her and brother Chance. 
Friends and my dear family I am behind in my packing but I have to sit in my favorite chair and close my eyes for a quick nap.  I will make it for I always do and there is to much at stake,  Thanks for your interest and keeping up with me even if I do not post everyday.  Back to business after an a little nap.

where she was born
we will find Liechtenstein

exploring all the old
places
viewing the change
eat food I learn
to love
then off to Berlin a city
of the old and new
delighted to see the art
a place of all the mystery
one more stop
we fly to Amsterdam
for a quick tour of the
old city that is trying
hard to change its
ways
reclaiming the docks
and pushing the city
to the north sea
I want to see Holland
again

Welcome to the adventures of planning my trip to Europe

This will be a quick update of my up and coming trip to Europe.  Today was deciding, if I wanted to buy a ipad 3 or a light computer well maybe the ipad is the best investment I have 4 computers.  The netbook was way to heavy for me to carry around.  Next came the case, do I want the keyboard??  Must decide soon.  Now it is the locks for the luggage on the train any suggestions for that decision? 

Life was so much simpler when I went to Europe the first at age 22 and returned at 23 we had no ipads and the information about  traveling came from a travel agent, brochures.  No internet!  I love the quick way to know anything you desire to know.  Guys, got to to hit the bed before sunrise and I must stop sleeping in my chair or I will not beable to look up and see the beautiful old magnificent churches.   Please pray for Rain or we will have to give up watering our new yard again.   Watch for my post tomorrow.  Please feel free to comment.    Please sign up to follow me.  Stay cool, beverley
